Sky News said it was 250. The 250 that were arrested weren't all fighting or causing trouble. The whole group of people were taken though only about 20 of the group were actually doing something wrong.

My mate's over there. He told me the police were watching the German fans taunting the English fans who were just having a drink. Of course a few idiots decided to retaliate, then the police moved in. They could have told the German fans to move on or stop inciting the English fans but it seems the police wanted it to happen. Maybe they were board & looking for a bit of action?

It was funny how Sky News said "250 England fans have been arrested on a 2nd day of rioting." They didn't tell you that the 1st day of rioting was nothing to do with English fans as all the arrested fans were German.

EDIT: Just been confirmed on Sky News that only 3 England fans have been charged out of 250.

True, they have NOT been because only 3 of the actual 250/300 have been charged. If 300 had been charged we would probably be looking at bans.
However, I cannot EVER see FIFA banning Germany, Italy, Argentina, Spain etc etc for simular offences. I think thats the point he/I was trying to make.

True, we'll never know until the situation arises. I'm very sceptical of certain decisions towards different nations though, and I'd hope my paranoia on this fact IS wrong.

However, looking at past incidents, I'm pretty confident British teams/fans are treated differently to other 'favoured' nations.

I too hope that, I'm not proven right, or wrong in this arguement during the World Cup!
