I have no doubt that pornography has had a huge impact on society. In fact, that is exactly my point. I'm just trying to really debate the definition and preconceptions most people have of porn.
As for the documentary, not having seen it I can't really comment. But to be honest, I really have a problem with these "news guys" doing quasi-documentaries on something they really know nothing about and really can't do adequate research from the academic perspective.
What I'm saying is it's kind of like comment I recently made.
Someone might know exactly how big Ron Jeremy's cock is. They might know exactly what colour, where the viens are and where the birth mark is on it. But I've had it in me. And it's an entirely different perspective.
Watching an adult film is only an outsider's perspective. And it's from my perspective I don't classify 99.9% of shag videos as pornography. There is nothing happening that is shocking or offensive. Either in front of the camera or behind it. And the more mainstream writes about it, the less it is.

I think it qualifies as well researched - it took 10 years to make and as for made by "new guys", well the BBC have been around for a few years now I think or so I seem to recall. A C4 hatchet job it is not.
Seriously track it down and watch it you might actually learn something from it.

Pornography and erotica are the same, about sex, and if good will result in sexual desire in the viewer. One man's porn is another's erotica.

I will seriously look for it. I'm always willing to approach things with an open perspective and I actually enjoy being proven wrong on occasion. You don't learn anything by always being right.
On that note, sometimes I think there are a few problems in the Canadian to British language translation. What I ment by the "new guys" was people not directly involved in the manufacture of the adult industry. The BBC isn't known for producing axe murder crap. On the other hand, if it was HBO, I would have told you to step off.

Oops sorry Kelly what I should have said given the whole topic of this thread was "Adult Entertainment Star" or "Adult Entertainer".
On the subject of this thread I'm with you on the various "areas" but to Joe Public pornography is images that arouse which in the view of the majority is mainly sexual. The more extreme people out there (those that are deeply religious) see pornography in almost all things - even wearing a boob tube and mini skirt can be pornographic to them!

Honey,
The antics in your petion are nothing to get upset about.
Had you addressed things that were important I wouldn't have had a problem.
Things like this for examples:
1) Bounced cheques
2) Forged HIV tests.
3) Known to assault a girls. (Being violent or using the threat of)
4) Drugging a girl's drink. (Been done.. Ask Dave Cummings about it)
5) Filming minors.
But going after a XXX producer because:
1) He comes on to you.
2) Wanks off on a porn set.
3) Does his shoots in the nude.
4) Dresses up women, of legal age, in little school girl clothing
5) Being an all around pervert.
6) etc.
Tells me you should consider changing careers.
You could have called this guy "Creepy," warned people to take a chaparone to the shoot, etc. And I would have had no problem running that on my site with a huge headline saying **WARNING THIS GUY CREEPS OUT FEMALE TALENT**
But instead you go after his livelyhood, in it's entirety, for being a dirty old man. If a guy creeps you out, just don't work for him again. And you can tell everyone what your experience was. (*That is your right and I support it*) You don't try and put him out of business for this.
On that note I'll let you in on a trade secret....
XXX videos are not only purchased and viewed by dirty old men. But more often than not, it's made by them too.

And if you want to shoot porn and profit from it dont shoot stuff that you enjoy doing because you will enjoy it so much that you will not be focused on the job and turn out stuff that was enjoyable to you but nobody else is interested in !love!

Dave Lee Roth once said the difference between porn and glamour was glamour used a feather whereas porn used the whole chicken!!
