don't you just hate it when threads go drastically off topic?

What a classic case of Irony

Complaining about some trivial crap then you go and commit the same mistake ;-)

Your not talking about the topic of the thread so its O/T in the subject line

cheers

Thank you Eduardo for pointing that out. Perhaps our esteemed colleague is really Stripey from Sydney because if he's British he certainly doesn't have any excuse for an error of that magnitude. Mancs and Scousers do indeed hate each other, but everybody hates Scousers. And rightly so.

I realise this has gone off-topic, but it's not everyday one meets up with a chap from one's alma mater, is it?

Back to the Chubbmeister now...

Hang on to those mags; I'll turn up with an artic later on this year.

Killian, eh? Yes I remember him, but didn't have him as a teacher. We were a class of intellectual heavyweights, don't forget - we had the best "O" levels results in the history of Alty Grammar. I was never better than 27th out of 32 in the end of term results sheets - we had one guy who went on to be top of his year at Cambridge in Natural Sciences, landed a first-class honours degree and is now a professor, and one who made ?30,000,000 on the money markets in Bermuda by the time he was 30 years old. Imagine how much porn you could buy with that kind of wedge! Me? I work in an printing office on a shitty industrial estate in Crawley. Which is a shame. But at least I can spell.

Did Coleman used to stand behind you in lessons and continually flick your ears? It was a little unnerving, especially as he sometimes used to whack you for seemingly no good reason.

Here's a question for you. Can you remember your class register? We had a class reunion a few years ago and some people could recite it verbatim whereas others didn't even recognise their old classmates. Mine started: Bates, Bath, Bazill, Beswick, Brennen and ended up Tholen, Thompson, Vernon, Waters, Webb.

to all, other than the love walrus and myself, altrincham is in cheshire not manchester. its like calling people from wales english because its quite close.
btw, isn't this the o/t forum?

anyway, yeah, coleman used to do the ear thing. not entirely sure what that was about but it kept me awake
we did have a reunion a few years ago but i couldn't make it ( i'm a session musician and was on a tour of japan, thailand and new zealand) so, other than a couple of guys i kept in touch with, i have no idea about the whereabouts of any of my other comrades except for one guy who is a pilot for british airways. genuinely have no real recollection of our register other than it starting with 'attack' - sorry!
did you get all the crap about the school holding the world record for tiddly winks? bickers gave us a big monologue about that on our first day like we should have been proud of their accomplishment

and if anyone has truly been paying attention, alty need one more win from their remaining two games to be assured of a playoff spot after giving stalybridge celtic a 4-1 spanking on tuesday night
