Though it seems churlish to suggest there's no ounce of sincerity in what Moore does, he has fast conformed to the Nietzschean principle of becoming a monster through fighting them. In his case a media monster - a lot of huff and puff, but little else all told. Both 'Bowling...' and F/11 start sharply then drift way out of focus, ending up nebulous at best, crassly sentimental at worst. As entertainments (how they're best treated) they offer easily consumerable 'facts' shorn of most complexities, profitably aimed at those you would've thought smart enough not to need him, as well as being a comfortable, lefty tentpole for the politically niave. Doubtless he's loving it, but I doubt it'll last. Moore's big problem will be keeping his audience once the effortless Iraqi/Bush-bashing comes to a halt, and even here I imagine many are starting to draw the same conclusion: Moore's current Bush-antagonism is rather like Burger King flinging insults at Mcdonalds. One's crap, and the other's not much cop either. A comedown would do Moore the power of good - no Oscars, no Cannes, but a chance to discover what really concerns the man on America's streets, because they were once Moore's concerns too.

Re: Please, no Moore..
He'll go back to where it all began I'd expect
Exposing the usual suspects on TV
That is if he doesn't think he's half a chance at running for President
