Thats the first thing I thought, how much time did she spend getting her hair looking like a cheap wig?
Or maybe she's one of those Jewish women who abide by all the rules, the one that says only her husband is allowed to see her real hair.

Apparently the hijab was only invented in 1975, by radical islamists who justified its imposition on the grounds that women's hair sent out rays that drove men to lustful thoughts. And Chanel or some fashion house then produced a transparent version which allowed the hair to be seen but blocked the harmful rays.
If that's what the minuscule proportion of French Muslim women who actually wear the thing sign up to (or, more likely, are bullied into wearing), then maybe Chirac has a point- albeit for the wrong, more unsavoury reason.

Seems rather pedantic to me....cover the body...cover the hair
If you can still see the face and in particular the eyes its a waste of time
I'd expect by now the Taliban would have all the women wearing Reflecto Shades.....far more practical than that fencing like mask the Berkah(spelling?)
