Its John Candy who made me laugh, Steve Martin is a comedian who's 'talent' is lost on me

Animal House of course!
Belushi all the way.
I still remember the inferior attempts to copy. Bacheleor Party anyone? With the worst Belushi rip-off ever.

Top marks for Porky's as well.

Me too Ace, John Candy was brilliant, I remember him in 'Uncle Buck' making that MASSIVE fuck off pizza for the kids, or was it an omelette, anyway his facial expressions in PT&A were the stuff of legends, "those aren,t pillows"

It was a fuck-off omelette. Uncle Buck was class.........even if it did feature a young Macauly Culkin!!!!!!!!
As regards TP&A, I loved him 'air-playing' the saxaphone and piano before nearly killing him and Steve Martin in the car crash. The only time I laughed out loud at Steve Martin was when he dried his face with Candys soiled underwear. EXCELLENT timing, and only 'slightly spoiled' by the typical American schmaltzy bollocks ending you expect in a John Hughes film.

You have to give a nod in the right direction for Gary Oldmans 'Nil by Mouth' featuring Ray Winstone and the EXCELLENT Kathy Burke

Very true.
Powerful film.
Good casting apart from that slag Foreman.

Winstone owns the screen whenever he's on, but then what with him being born a local lad, I have a soft spot.
Was it just me that thought he was perfect casting as Will Scarlet in Captain Scar...er...Robin of Sherwood.
