How very true

The fees are just another way of the government avoiding its responsibilities but I bet during the next election campaign they will say they are committed to education-absolute bollocks

If this were true it would be free...by all means make the overseas students pay their way but leave the locals alone...when they start earning a wage their income they will more than repay the cost of the course in tax

In the long the Nation will be the loser....potential doctors, nurses, engineers etc will be lost to other mundane parts of the work force

As it so happens in Australia at present we have shortages in all these areas which are only going to get worse as the ageing workforce retires

still dont know why i need to write under dif headings when i created this post and theres only really 1 conv going on at a time....but still....u the boss etc...

i dunno what somepeoples art degrees normally lead to. a lot of people do graphic design, something i adored at high school but it just seems so popular and u kno what they say about too many people not enough jobs.

urgh all this talk of fees are depressing....gonna go hide under the duvet and be mature

ohh ok well i just clicked on it and the fucker took a lil while to load...its not really common sense because ive never seen anything like that on other sites and i only joined this site a few weeks before the big change over - so i dont kno whats what, i just read and type, read and type

to me it is common sense to read down the new posts and then im at the bottom...where i type a reply....sorry fair enough

i cant believe u all bother reading the lil subject boxes tho its not that hard to comprehend a thread of conversation with or without digressions but if thats the law of the land then ill...er...hand myself in :S

'i dunno what somepeoples art degrees normally lead to'

The differences between what I knew before and what I know now are beyond calculation, this in itself a reward that goes far beyond mere monetary or career/social standing. Do remember what you get out of it only equates to what you put in. Mind you, hiding under the duvet and being mature - you're prize student material :~))

see now i have to go thro all that rigmorale just to send a second post tsk!

anyway - the last word, can u share any of that wisdom with me at all, first i chose a few of the wrong gcses due to teacher pressue, then i chose the wrong alevels outta fear so ithought fuck it, im not gonna get into debt and drop out after a year of studying some rubbish, so ileft it. people go to uni at any age now so im less bothered...

but dont worry im not about to go and do a media studies or art degree ;)

even tho id enjoy both to an extent im not naive, and i think u need to be at the moment to study those because its so popular
