quality comeback there mate
snigger
I love the way you avoided the JD/NO area of the discussion. This because you have no answer to it and you know that by using it in the 1st place you secured your place as the loser in this amusing little discussion?
snigger again
Having just re-read the whole thing, I can only return to your original reply of-
"Sorry, but this must be said: when it comes to being overrated, The Stone Roses rewrote the book. Twee, Birds-y, jangly, piss-poor slop for the 'useless generation'. Ex-NME stalwart David Quantick once called them The New Seekers of baggy, and he was spot-on. Fool's gold indeed."
my oh my, "piss-poor", "twee", "overrated"? I can only suggest that you have a serious hearing defect or are seriously mentally impaired. But I already knew that from your JD/NO opinion didn't I?
anyway, you got any good pornos to swap?

Okay, Let's keep this short (part 2).
1. I don't seperate JD from NO because, as I said, it's subjective, I wouldn't rate one above the other because I rate both very highly and don't see the point, and if I did, it would only be for the benefit of spoddy little, Nick Hornby-style list makers who keep insisting I do so.
2. Thank you for repeating my original post in full. I'm flattered.
3. You like the Roses. I think they're shite.
4. Now get over it.

fantastically intelligent response again TLW mate. I'm shocked
you're saying these things are 'subjective' right? then how can you also say that bands are either 'better' or 'worse' than the Roses? isn't it all 'subjective' as you say?
that is a contradictory stance if ever there was one mate hehehe
No one is 'insisting' that you do anything. It is only your own desire to have 'the last word' which is keeping you replying to my posts. My posts are wiping the floor with you and you know it mate.
We can only 'do it' if you're willing to put in the effort and come up with somthing decent to say to me mate
no doubt I'll see you tommorrow for your millionth attempt at the last word..................
