No! He took the money from the sales of the record & said 'Thanks very much, I'll put it into my private Swiss bank account'!!

Does anyone have any information on how the present Government plan to tackle the homeless problem? Because the last time I looked it amounted to fuck-all, frankly. Then again, perhaps jolly Uncle Tone is still insisting we're all middle-class now, and so it doesn't quite register. (Few comments have ever made my blood boil quite as much as that particular one). Astonishing thread, by the way.

Magoo, the story of the man who was killed on the sea front is shockingly disturbing.
It's exactly the same treatment that Louis was given.
I can't even begin to put into words how I wish they'd bring back the death penalty for cunts who take delight in doing a Clockwork Orange act.
Fucking vile sick cunts who will carry on thru the system and come out of prison with even more tricks.
How fucked up do you have to be?
I'll be honest, I cried my eyes out when I found out about Louis but the worst thing is nobody cared!!
Nobody cared that he was a decorated soldier!
Nobody cared that he was willing to give up his life for Queen & Country!

The thing that fucks me off on this issue is that people are ready to bitch and pidgeon hole every "homeless" person.

Tell you what, I'll give you 1000 wankers with homes, for every 1 without.
The ratio is a staggering indictment of mass ignorance.

It's as banal as saying all Asians have corner shops or all Orientals have Laundromattes.
"All homeless are lazy and choose to be homeless."

I'll remind myself of that the next time I go to the Gardens of Peace by the crematorium where Louis ended up.
Nothing to mark his life.
Absolutely fuck all.
He was a vagrant and was cremated.
Nobody to claim the body, not even a decent funeral. Just a press of the button and that's a wrap.
Fucking war hero getting killed by a cunt who just wanted to be big in front of his friends.

I hate the mass ignorance.
At the end of the day, the person that you pretend you haven't seen could be anybody. Might even be you one day. Perhaps your child?

We live in a society where it's pass the buck. Not my problem. Oh don't get involved. Just look away.
Were we always that cold and cynical?

This would be the same grinning sell out who said we were a classless society as well.

Make your mind up Tony. That's what happens when you hang around with Freemason slags like Dubya.

Me or Phil Collins?

John 'Couger' Mellencamp had a great album out in the 80's called Lonesome Jubilee which featured a song called 'Down and out in Paradise' which was about vagrants in Hollywood........or Malibu.
Being very giving to causes, Mellencamp regularly donates huge amounts to causes he highlights in his songs. A few more should follow his style.
Before anyone asks, YES Joe Strummer gave MOST of his royalties to all kinds of causes from Striking miners to women's refuge centres.
