"Magna Publishing Group has purchased Club Magazine and its sister publications from Club Media Inc., increasing the total number of titles it publishes to over 60. The deal also includes Club International, Club Confidential and Best of Club.

Magna Publishing Group already includes established magazine titles such as Swank, Genesis, Fox, Gallery, Velvet and Gent.

Genesis Editor-in-Chief Dan Davis has been named editor-in-chief of Club Magazine. Club is definitely one of the biggest men?s titles and it definitely becomes our biggest title on the Magna roster, said Davis, who will continue to edit Genesis as well.

The acquisition is effective immediately. The first issues of Club and its sister titles under the Magna umbrella will be the January 2010 magazines, which are projected to be on the street in November."

I remember the first time they dis a full frontal spread. Had that magazine for years hidden under my cupboard.

Definitely the end of an era, the Internet has taken porn over. If you don't have a web presence you best get one fast. Is my advice.

Still I will miss the guys working at PRO and of course the sales we made there.

Feel for all those who lost their jobs as well. !sad!

Well, much as the change was an upheaval, and we lost many good people, we're still publishing, and despite the budget cuts that come with being in a declining sector of the market, still churning out the best adult titles, and still paying photographers - even if it might take a touch longer these days! The remaining core staff are all PRO veterans as well, fighting to keep the famous brands of yore alive.

We're working on a new website at the moment, with much more content. Should be ready in a month or two.
And Spunkie, Steve Colby just dropped off a previously unpublished Jo Guest set with me this week from a few years back and I'll be using that in MensWorld pretty soon!

Far from RIP, in fact I'm getting a lot busier for them, there's a set of FayeX doing gonzo with Cate Harrington I shot in this months Escort I'm really pleased with, great fun to shoot :o)

I grew up reading Escort Mag so I'm loving shooting for them.

Look forward to seeing Jo Guest's set, she is and always has been my favourite.
