It's evident that women in abusive relationships, for a variety of
reasons, are often unwilling, or unable, to just get the Hell out.
I fail to see how someone victimised by a bigger and physically
stronger partner can be described as anything else than a victim.

Too often, thanks to inadequate social support, these relationships
end in tragedy for one or both.
