Who mentioned anything about the national wage? The porn industry is not based on the national wage. On an hourly rate its a Hell of a lot higher and for good reason. Its up to the performer how much work they get. Just like the straight British film business, the UK porn business cannot begin to compete with the huge machine in place in the USA. But with the Dollar at $1.90 to the ?1.00, the U.S. probably isnt such the shining star it once was - also there still has been no aids scare in the UK....
AND ALSO and PLEASE READ THIS CARFEULLY ... This advert is asking for male performers (amateur and professional). We already have our female models. That is the main thrust of the advert (just read the initial posting) - the request for female performers was an aside just in case there was interest out there.
The whole 100% 200% 300% debate has got nothing to do with the inital posting as we have already agreed a price with our female models..
......and to say that to only be offered DOUBLE the normal wage would be a total con (especially on top of the fact that we are demanding and paying for full 5 day old HIV/STD tests for every performer) only goes to show what a negative world you must be living in.
