I like the idea of a Promotions/Publicity Section, it will help to sort the good stuff from blatant advertising, same was as BGAFD changed, to create BGAFD Forum & Off Theme Forum.
Not sure about the Industry Forum idea yet, there are some good Pros for it, as well as significant Cons, will have to wait and see.

After reading all the posts so far, i have a few conclusions.
1, I prefer the Threaded View, i find it tedious to scroll down through so many previous posts, on a Flat View Forum, and then start searching for the relevant dated post for the NEW Post, Threaded is much better.
2, I also think that a TGP Page running alongside the 2 existing Forums would be would become a useful place to visit.
3, Limiting the availability of multiple URLs in the Signature is a GOOD idea, after all (without naming names, you KNOW WHO YOU ARE), having to scroll past lots of SPAM URLs just to get to the new Posts Links in the Threaded View is tredious, and if i dare say it, downright Fucking Annoying.
I like your idea of more availble space for URLs in the Profile, that's a good option, if you want to find out what websites Person ***** has, then check their Profile, no need to SPAM the main Post Page for them all like Joe Blogs (again, you know who you are, and it pisses me off no end, specially when you yourself have SLAGGED OFF certain ppl for supposed SPAMMING).

Sounds like a logical step forward
Just as humor/o/t discussions were out of control previously so are spamming/self interest adverts at present IMO
Wether it works or comes a cropper, judgement is best reserved for when its been running for a few months
cheers

I thought a "Busines Only" forum might be handy, because last week I made two posts, one after the other. One received quite a few replies with only one person actually answering the question asked and the other where I posted looking for female models for g/g shoots just faded away without a reply. Ok.. I do have contact with a few of the current crop of girls but I hoped that anew face might appear... No such luck.
Many of us on the production side whether with web sites, film production or both, do have other means of contacting each other, but a small forum as I suggested above could be useful at times.
And finally, I also vote for a "Tomsk Only" forum.. He can then post asking a question and answer himself all day and night, without offending anyone... LOL.

i agree joe. an indsutry forum for me would be great.
some things a model might want to say/ask on a forum she may feel are to private for the public to view but if its totally work related may feel comfortable asking on an industry forum.
guys, i wont stop visiting the main forum (unluckily) and im sure no one else will.
it may bring back alot of the insiders (hate that word but cant think of another description) that have been frightened off the bgafd. they may even be encouraged that way to share things on the main forum.
after all, what use have i got for a fan site. except for exposure. im hardly going to be posting under the heading 'anyone got any ..insert models name.. links/pics'.
ouch!!!!
woody was right tho. some of us do sincerely enjoy a natter on the board.

Although I haven't posted too many times recently in this forum, i've always enjoyed reading through the various episodes of bitching, praising, drooling and self-delusion (Tomsk et al.) that are to be found here. I go along with what appears to be the prevailing opinion which is to leave well alone (sorry Sandie etc)
But, without trying to sound condescending, what really tripped me was how articulate and lucid most of the posts are. It reminds me of the HIV posts/debates which were frankly much more informative and enlightening than reading through the papers or other "quality" adult industry info sites. It's times like these that I truly appreciate what you guys are doing through this forum and one would hate to see the present structure tinkered with, even for somewhat understandable reasons.
If it ain't broke, don't fix it.
