An old friend of mine (who happens to be gay...) is a fan of Mr Hooper. I thought it was common knowledge that Steve Hooper had a considerable gay following, and "dabbled" in that genre.

I am totally shocked.

I saw him in a film with

I don't know, she seems to beat Miss 10" by a mile.

As Woodgnome has mentioned and has been mentioned in earlier threads Steve Hooper has appeared in a couple of ?Gay Movies? but from what I can gather, they were only ?solo? masturbation scenes which he may or may not have been aware were being marketed to the ?Gay? market, this does not make him gay in my opinion, I read information on another forum that a few other British performers have followed the same route as a means of entering the business, certainly in the states a lot of male performers appeared in gay flicks before they moved over to straight stuff, whether that makes them ?Gay? or ?Bi? I am not able to judge, and as I have never seen any ?Gay? or ?Bi? stuff and do not have the inkling to do so that is all I can say.
Besides you should not believe what you see in the movies ...

I've worked with Steve many times over the years and never found him to have any gay or bi 'moments' when involved in scenes with a girl(s) and other male performers.
As I mentioned a few weeks back it's threads like this that put off many people in the industry from posting here. Although many have defended Steve there are always a few willing to mock and take the piss that spoil what could be an otherwise excellent forum

As usual you read and reply without first checking your facts, if you read a recent post on Mr Hooper you will see a post by Marino that fuelled the whole argument by stating that the said actor was a "Bender" amongst other unflattering remarks, that remark was from someone from within the industry and one of the major players so an apology to the normal punter on this forum would be appreciated, not holding my breath though.

You keep mentioning why people from the industry stay away from this forum because of remarks made by the general public, perhaps it is time for you to take a raincheck.

I?ll admit to knowing nothing about Mr Hooper?s sexuality (although respect due if he did get paid for cracking one off, regardless of it was watched by a gay or straight audience. Surely queer folk pay money to watch smut as well?) I do however know that some threads posted by industry folk on this topic, have shown levels of homophobia that strike me as not only peculiar, but intellectually nonsensical.

People who have sex (or film people having sex ) for a living are subject to vilification from the general public as a default setting. The concept of heterosexual porn folk joining the conspiracy and defining, judging and condemning people by the hole they choose to dip their wick into, doesn?t take into account the simple fact that if you are filming people fucking, you will always exist on the margins, either gay or straight.

You get idiots everywhere: that doesn't negate the forum's worth.
I'm still amazed that you can suggest that someone who fucks on camera for a living would be too sensitive to put up with the odd moron here........or even ignore them.
I'd hazard a guess that the Moron Ratio, as it shall henceforth be called, is higher in the average London boozer than it is here. And in particular the HOC bar........

.......and to support the latter contention, you use an example from
"someone from within the industry and one of the major players"?
Hmmmm........

He may have appeared on the box of a video, but have YOU seen the movie itself? If not I'd suggest you moderate yourself!
