I hope that wasnt an exploding rampant bunny, else you may have a legal case of implying that the sex toy can explode, not to mention the health and safety implications

I think Hiwatt and BB should have simply posted.
These Girls (names), are under our contract and not allowed to work for anyone without permission until around Y date, this is a legally enforcable situation. More information email here.
However, what they did from a PR point of view is nothing short of genuis in a B2B environment, but also not far from stupidity in a consumer environment, and the edge of insanity in new CG potential enviroment, in my opinion.
The middle one is one that I'd be concerned about, the latter is all about the cha-ching, but the former is where the genius is.
They have the biggest thread, I have seen this year, and almost all the producers I know have posted here, or spoken to me about this, so WE ALL know now, which means they can attempt to dry bum hump us with no lube.
If they have a chance or the law allows it isnt the point at all, the point is they will hit you in your pocket, and you will fold as its cheaper to give in.
Must as I dislike the methods, gotta say 'cool' when you see something like this.

Its not that clever Cenobitez. The ones that may do something about it are the ones who might take Hiwatt up on the challenge by not posting here.
Someone pointed out quite rightly that this would have best been on the ukadultproducers forum which is more producer oriented than this site which is geared towards the fans.
I know a lot of producers who do look at this site but never respond (Oh shit! Theyre gonna give me a kicking if he post on ukap now. DOH!!!)
Hiwatt need not worry where I am concerned. If i was going to use his girls I wouldnt have posted either.
I'm not dodgy like that.
You start pissing in other peoples pools then you should expect trouble. I'd like to think I am not the only one that is transparent on this issue.
If anything I was wondering why Hiwatt just brought it up now after 3 years of being in the business and dont you think the girls who worked for him would know that anyway???
But you are right 258 posts has made this the thread of the year so we know they deserve an award for that one.

I made a semi-humourous remark early in this thread but in all seriousness, I think most of you are over reacting to a slightly over-the-top original post by Hiwatt who then had to carry on and justify it by getting himself in deeper and antagonising some others in the process.
Surely how Bluebird -or anyone else- runs their business is of no concern to others unless it directly affects them.
I have my own opinion of the whole Bluebird setup but as I said, it is their business how they decide to spend their own money.
Lighten up chaps, its all getting a bit too serious.

Hiwatt,
Thanks for the legal lesson, but has it occurred to anyone at Bluebird that there's more to running a porn business than the legal side?
Building your brand is important, and so far the Bluebird name has become associated with...
- Unfulfilled hype
- A poorly built web site
- Public legal threats
- Lack of delivery
- Surgically-enhanced blondes
The Bluebird name has now been well known for over two years. There was a time when the industry was holding its breath in anticipation of what you guys might do, but that was a long time ago.

Marcus. Said like the true wise warrior sage that you are.
JB..I hear you on that one. I thought Blue Bird was supposed to have blown away the competition right now but I'm still not feeling it.
I used to say i think its a good thing a big company coming in with loads of money and ambitions as it elevates the business into something more professional looking, if not in style then at least in approach but you'd never beleive it reading this thread.
So looks like the trap may have back fired to some degree

Which seems an apropriate note upon which to declare this thread closed.
