Hiwatt.
You stated
'All producers know who past and present BB contract girls are: they are up there on the site for all to see: www.bluebirdfilms.com'

Just for your information, I do not. Also, I do not care who is contracted to you, neither am I going to look at your site every time I book a girl.

You do not own this industry.

The contract is between you and the model - NOT other producers.

To make this posting on a public forum that is for the promotion of this industry shows a lack of professionalism.

Is it just me or does this thread make anyone else feel jaded and slightly sickened. Girls being spoken about as if they were commodities for trade and "well it's business" being used as an excuse.

I suggest that this thread is made sticky and kept at the top of the forum for the rest of time so that new models can read it and see what the industry can be like.

"so hindering a girl's career by stopping her do B/G doesn't really make much sense to be honest": you have forgotten that she gets royalties for the non-shoot period.

"Although there isn't much market for B/G in the UK": sorry ? [a] our movies have distribution deals in 3 continents and 22 countries; don't think any of the other producers on this forum would agree about the UK ...

Exactly why I think this thread should be made sticky, to allow these girls to make an informed decision. To see how some people in the industry see them. Or do you think that it's best that the girls are not made aware of the dark side of the industry in order for a very few people to make big money? What is an acceptable cost for the industry to grow?

"This whole thread could have been much more positive if you had explained that:

Girls are still allowed to shoot, with your permission,"
THAT'S EXACTLY WHAT THE ORIGINAL POST SAID

"without demanding and threatening" THE POST DEMANDED NOTHING AND THREATENED NOTHING. IT IS NOT A THREAT TO ASSERT A LEGAL RIGHT IS IT ?

"If a girl was on a 30k contract would it not be better to pay 20 in the first year and then 10 in the year after the contract ran out so she is not left in a situation where she had plenty of money then none": that is how a performance + royalties based contract works. So we agree

"not giving a toss about the girls": JUST THINK - PLEASE - ABOUT WHAT YOU ARE SAYING. WE ARE THE ONLY COMPANY IN THIS COUNTRY THAT GIVES TALENT A DEAL INCLUDING ?/CAR/APARTMENT/SURGERY/FREE TESTS + ROYALTIES. HOW DO YOU GET FROM THAT FACT TO THE PROPOSITION THAT WE DO NOT GIVE A TOSS ABOUT THE GIRLS ?

Oh, so that must be why it says 'for Producers' at the top.
