It's a learning curve like anything Paul. I did a 2 day BBC course on colour correction a few years ago and, having used it constantly since, I consider myself fairly adept at it now. I am sure there are some good tutorials online to help you - it's definitely a useful skill to have. Even though we custom white balance both cameras I sometimes still use the colour correction to tweak things so the different camera angles blend more seamlessly.
