Maybe I am making the pricing too high... ?3 for a 2 min clip ? I just became a verified profile, so I understand that means I dont pay bandwidth charges now, is that right ?

It's ?50 min for a cheque and ?150 for a transfer. I think being verified means you get every clip sale credited to you, instead of you not getting the money for the first one each day...or something strange like that.

I've never made any sensible money from it because I've never worked hard at it . Most of my experience is helping webcamming girls - they can make very good money!!

I don't pretend to be a model and if I add 3-4 clips a day and really work at it I make ?100-?200 a week, but as i said it took me to get to 100 clips and over before that started. It was the odd ?50 here and there. There are slow times but I do blogs, I try and make my profile sound interesting. Girls who web cam and do clips make shit loads I know some who make ?2000 a month but they are on it 24/7 , they put some serious hours in. If you update every day you should make it back.

But ?3 for a2 min clip is a bit high try from 1.5 credits for under a minute, and 2 to 2.5 credits for 1-2 min clips, the rentals are full scenes and they charge ?2.99 for a scene so for a clip its a bit steep I'd say. I dont know why anyone would buy clips but they do and you might as well take advantage of adult works traffic

Hey Paul do you know if I am right in my belief that if you are a verified member that you dont pay bandwidth charges ?

My clips are 10 meg wmv's... so on their 10p a minute rule that means a bandwidth charge of around ?1-?1.10... which when you take that out, then their % wasnt leaving a lot of juice... however if I dont have to pay bandwidth charges now then I dont mind dropping the clips to ?2...

I'm going to see what other people have them on... I seen some really high and some really low... so not sure what the science is lol...

I loved the 1 second clip I found for ?90... now that's expensive

Oh and just signed up to Clips4Sale as well... might as well compare the two

I have never heard of bandwidth charges at all, All I know is that as a verified member you get all of your percentage of the sales and they take there cut but you get paid for every sale on your percentage. I have never heard of the bandwidth thing mate, you using their serves and they make money on every clip on there so no hidden charges to my knowledge

If when you go to upload a clip, there is a "?" if you click on it, it brings up the bandwidth charges... it's 10p a meg for wmv's and lists all the other video formats...

It also then explains how that would effect the loading of a video clip... so if you loaded something that was say 10 meg then you would be charged a ?1... before any splits were done...

If your a verified member then you dont pay bandwidth charges...
