I refuse to shoot with TFP'ers and content sharers unless I get the same deal too. But somehow, they all seem to think I should be the mug handing over wads of cash, whilst they run around doing freebies for others.

Well, as they say, F**k that.

You should try it. It's not as 'cutting your nose off to spite your face' as it would seem on the surface.

Wildgal,

I am sure it has and will benefit you but its almost like a person getting comfortable getting free money from being on the dole. They guet used to getting shoots for free.

The thing about this business is that people will get a sniff you do tfp and will constantly bombard you with the kind of requests you posted about in your first post.

This is where it starts.

I hear alot of girls getting requests for gang bangs and bukkakes now and they are waiting for the fee to be mentioned and the bloke expects they will do all that for free.

Think how that makes it look to producers who read these forums.

I'd be inclined to go the same route if girls are going to give it all away for a glass of wine and a pizza. Hell have two glasses of wine and a pizza with extra topping while you are at it.

This is the message that gets out and why the chancers have been increasing since the start of tfp and content sharing so this guy was tkaing the piss unaware he was taking the piss I reckon

Even you had to aks if he was taking the piss shows how the lines have blurred now and we can expect a lot more of this now

Piss takers are here there and everywhere and it usually starts with a request for content share.

Other people see this and it means a free fuck if you give her the tape and pics or as a bonus you might even edit it in windows movie maker and burn a dvd so she can put it on adultwork.

Fair enough some models and producer have paid joint costs in these financially challenged times but I always find this deal inequitable because one of thetwo will benefit greater.

I know because Ive been there too and all I can say ok you've had two years exclusive run but the truth of it is I have a conscinece and dont like to see anyone fucked over. Especially the girl who had to do the fucking.

Some people might see this business as every man for himself but thats another thing thats fucking this business up. If everyone thinks like that then it becomes a barren wasteland of civil war.

Oh yeah , it is that already, I forgot.

I just basically wanted to know if this was common practice thats all. Which i why i posted it on here. Because as far as i knew when you agree with someone to content share no money changes hands, or asked to cover costs and you then each use the content as you see fit, this way everyone benefits.

This guy who expected me to pay is very well established with his well known website, and this is why i was so surprised at his email. He is obviously more desperate to make money than he is about the welfare of clients he wants on his site. At the end of the day he needs me far more than i need him.

I would understand more if he was new to the industry and perhaps have some sympathy, but he isn't. He is a well established guy and thought he could get some money out of me up front. Not even a decent proper model agency would want any fee up front.

It's my own & others personal choice to content share, but thankfully some of us do understand the true meaning of it & don't take the piss.

For me it has been something to do to help get me started and it has paid off as i am now getting paid work offers.

I don't see a problem with content share if it's an occasional thing which helps someone new get a leg up into the industry and help get you noticed.
For a lot of people it works, although i agree some people may use it far to much and thats when it affects the running of the industry, and yes i agree it's wrong. But what i have done re content share so far is not wrong.

Had this guy just said bring a bottle of wine for the hosts i would have happily done this, as it's the polite thing to do.

Right i'm off for a lay down lol

Here's another letter I got which will crack you up, "Dear Jim, I have been buying pirate DVD's of yours for ages now and I am fed up with paying for them.I want to have them for free, so can you please make some DVD's of your films and post them to me in Singapore at ...........

I answered like this, "Before I send you the films you must go to the shop where you buy your food from and ask for the manager. When he arrives you must ask him this", "I have been buying my food from you for some time now and I am fed up with paying for it, can you please give me all of my food for free from now on?"

"You must then tell me what is his answer!"

Strangely, I never heard from him again! LOL !fight!

We are sometimes the first point of call for amateurs who after a lot of abuse & piss taking from the industry realise there are friendly groups looking out for each other, when photographers are offering TFP (worse than shared content but nothing said) & portfolios costing silly money girls come to us & John will shoot off pics, vids & make a basic site for them on a content share basis & they keep returning so they must be doing something with their material.
Another instance we warn girls about is doing Auditions which is the biggest piss take but again is allowed because its instant profit for the dodgy producers/photographers doing this, with one of our screeners the girl can show a producer how she works & levels etc thus having no need for an audition.
We have worked with lots of people on this forum & never had any bad words about us & even though some of these people now work Pro they still come back to us for content share having made up their own minds & realised it works if done right.
