100% behind you on this one Woodgnome. Steve56's posts are seriously trivial and becoming ever more annoying. Didn?t like to say anything before as Steve's obviously a simple, though harmless soul, who obviously derides some pleasure from posting his inanities and it would have been uncharitable to say anything negative about it. But, seeing as you?ve brought the subject up?
Officer Dibble - getting it off his chest.

Re: Thats a first!!
I actually find myself agreeing with Dibble on this..........NEVER thought THAT would happen!! My Sunday Morning Nightmare consists of waking up to the previous nights posts on the forum and digesting some very good topics and reading some excellent follow ups until Steve throws his post in for good measure and it totally ruins the rest of the reading. It is easy to ignore the posts, Im sure plenty out there have ignored mine, but I, along with others, DO find them irritating, annoying and senseless with no direction or worthwhile content. How about adopting a yellow card system as a warning and proceed to show the red card and ban him for a week or so. If this forum is as important to him as he suggests, he will be able to have time to dwell on his mistakes and hopefully come back with a better attitude to posting.
Re: Attn:Shaun
if we really wanted to bar you stephen, we would have done it months ago.
the fact is, you've been a forumite for some time now and have plenty of experience of the way things operate. all we expect is that you practice greater self control over what you post and why you post.
we are more likely to allow off topic posts when the person posting regularly makes ON topic contributions. if all you do is post fluff ALL of the time, our patience is going to wear thin pretty quickly.
things to stop doing:
replying to someone's post with 3 or 4 different answers in quick succession - NOT helpful; not helpful either is your frequent tendency to post questions that lead nowhere, or which have nothing to do with the topic at hand. and whenever you feel the urge to make a reference to 'department s' or glynis barber, or any other 60's tv programme/personality - for the love of pete DON'T!!
you are capable of making constructive and relevant posts - i know because i've read them. just try and make such posts the norm rather than the exception. otherwise, you'll find fewer and fewer of your messages staying up.

Er, but why not? On the subject of porn in particular and life in general, aren?t I knowledgeable, insightful, logical, objective, solemn when the occasion demands and witty where seems appropriate?
Dibble.

Re: Thats a first!!
All of those....but seldom any two simultaneously !!
Alas, I too have recently had the willies scared out of me by suddenly discovering myself to be in at least partial agreement with our good Myrmidon of the Law.........
