Maybe I'm a bit slow on the uptake, but I'm not sure this does clarify the issue.

As one of the prospective "horny guys", I am naturally disappointed at the party's cancellation, but also puzzled as to why.

The health issue is nothing new. And are the risks of unprotected oral without certification, much different from the risks of unprotected sex with certification? As we know, a certificate is only accurate on the day of testing (or 10 weeks before!).

Similarly, the legal issue seems a bit of a red herring. I agree with TheDonkeyWork - there would be no real risk of being sued.

Is the real reason something that cannot be discussed in public? RTS has his "real reason for concern", and other have been "reading between the lines".

So, Mr Gaslight, clarification it is not.

I've been involved in these sorts of events for a few years now, in various capacities, so it's not just idle curiousity. Are there issues I ought to be aware of before agreeing to the next one?

Hi Guys and Girls,

Can I point out this is a party. And we all enjoy a good party. Yes sure I have had my worries about these but after speaking to one hell of a lot of people we should all live life a little. I agree with BIg Al but if we all worried all the time like I did no one would have any fun.

I just now say go for it but have your eyes wide open. If I could afford it myself I would be straight down to one of these fantastic events myself.

It's just how porn and the industry is evolving. We need to embrace it rather than try to stop the tide of progress so personally I am accepting it with caution. My opinion is it is better in the open and since so many of my friends do these parties anyhow I am Go, Go, Go on this now.

Ron.

(This is my personal opinion rather than Nude2Rude opinion's)

RTS agrees with me! Now there's a first...in a long time anyway!! How are you my old friend?!

In terms of the risk of being sued, yes it's remote. But it does beg the question as to who might sue who, and where responsibility lays, as there is more than one scenario here.

The organisers are presumably booking the girls and exercising some degree of "control" over their work pattern - dates and times/duration of parties, when they take breaks, etc. In this context the girls could be regarded at law as 'employees' (and not self employed persons). Which means that the organisers would be legally required to hold compulsory EL insurance.

If a punter passes on an infection to a girl, that's a potential Employers' Liability claim against the organisers. Whereas if a model passes on an infection to a punter, that's a potential Public Liability claim against the organiser. These liabilities exist in civil law, and the organiser could be held responsible irrespective of whether he has any insurance or not.

Yes I know it's all very remote and difficult to prove, but peoples' attitudes do change if they are put in that unfortunate position - especially when they smell potential compensation (and notwithstanding any personal embarrassment!).

I merely make a few observations based on my professional experience of matters of legal liability. All involved (organisers, girls and customers) can only make up their own minds as to whether parties are for them, in the knowledge of what the risks are, and what the consequences COULD potentially be.
