seems like this credit crunch has the potential to make this business into a smorgasbord for rapist's and whatever freaks that are out there. the slowing down of producers looking for models might open up a great venue for these people to con new and green models.
lets not let that happen, what do you say?
a real producer wouldn't mind being brought into the spotlight to make sure he/she is legit.
better to warn, research and be wrong then to just go along with the shoot by a questional new tog, producer, just to be nice.
yes they might turn out to be legit, and you might be afraid to loose money and your reputation as a model, but why would you take the risk of meeting someone that have nothing good in mind for you!
why take the chance of offering yourself, to give someone you really know nothing about a reference! I have never understood that, its their job to provide whatever needed to prove themselves, its not our job as models to do that for them.
