I gave my credit card detail's to a company for a week long trail the site was 'ok'(some 'India' doing hardcore)they need my credit card even though they were'nt supposed to be charging me
as it was a trial ... but guess what they did charge me for a months usage RECURRING ...

I do still have a gander at Razzle from time to time (i wont buy it) just in case it improves but it never does....umm

Elton used to BUY Razzle, but now he doesn,t because he doesn,t like the new format, Razzle for their sins changed the format to cater for, who? any research done, any readers asked? obviously not.
Result loose/loose, although ?1.95 is piss cheap IMHO for any porn mag, Razzle could maybe ask punters what they would like to see, and Elton could state his case and vote with his wallet.
(Although it seems like he already has.)

To be fair to Razzle (format aside) most guys buying mags dont have a clue who the models are, it,s probably the last thing on thier mind as long as the girls are showing thier arses, who cares, I mean why are they buying the mag? you can hardly read it in Starbucks, and a lot of the Models are maybe just begining thier "career" so most people wont have heard of them.

Market forces allow people choices, and thats good, but some good old fashined market research allows the supplier and the punter to live in harmony and everyones happy.

The REAL tragedy was the loss of Ken Bound's Mayfair to the PR stable. That was a change. A grown-up read changed overnight, never bought it again.

Still got all my copies from the 70's and early 80's though.

Guys (& Girls?),
Why can't you just let the editors do their job. It's a hard enough job as it is putting up with us photographers who are know to have artistic temprements! ( You should see what we're like when models don't turn up!!!!) I mean at the end of the day they are like football managers...as long as the team is doing well everybody loves them....as soon as things go wrong, they're looking for another job.
Everyone likes to sit on the side lines and have they're say, but at the end of the day you'll find the TV pundits are only TV pundits because they either never had the talent for club management or tried it and failed!
So let the editors do their jobs the best that they can, and by all means have your opinions, but the winner everytime will be the sales figures!

Perhaps instead of moaning about the charges incurred by the website in question, you'd have been better off reading the terms and conditions where it clearly states you will be charged if you do not cancel with the correct timescale!

Anyway, what has the website got to do with Paul? Do you really think the editor of a magazine like Razzle also does the magazine/company website at the same time???? You've been told that he has only been in the position of Editor of that magazine for a few weeks and yet you've more or less gone out and accused the poor bloke of defrauding you when it appears to have been your fault!

And no, I don't work for the website in question, but it took me less than five minutes to find the info I wanted. Perhaps you couldn't wait/last that long?

Of course i canceled before the end of the trial... my point is they still charged me ...that's how i got my money back do you need me to underline the word's 'my money' because that's what it is !!! and because they had taken my money ,my bank chased them and got it back!!!! and my greater point is they dont want my custom they changed one of my fav product's without asking me ...iam not attacking Paul Garfield
in fact in all truth iam jealous of he's job id love to edit Razzle ...ummm......they let school boy's edit 'Oz' why not let
me edit razzle go on give me 'one edition' one is all i ask and ill show you an improvement in sales.....as that is all it comes down to.

Quick question for you: when did you last look at Mayfair?

It's been changed dramatically since I took it over in the late Autumn, and I've reintroduced some of the elements that made it such a great magazine. Do me a favour and check it out. As someone who remembers Ken's Mayfair, I'd be interested to hear your thoughts.
