I think its called adult industry by the media/ establishment for the whopping amount of money selling sex generates collectively rather than individually from video to sex toys, lingerie, escorts etc. Then there are the shows like Erotica etc
I've also heard it referred to as the cottage industry but I gues this applies to the solo one man bands scattered all around the country.

I say its the adult side of the entertainments industry, its just another acting job.
p.s: giggled about the A-levels questions cause i was stumped when I first saw that, I was thinking wow must mean something having qualifications hee hee ooopps.

LOL I thought it was a veiled hint to suggest from models "I do really freaky stuff that I dont really want to admit here" Like I said A - Level = Anal just seemed too obvious
