This is what i read on that link:

British pornographers Relish have sold out to rival Blue Bird. Blue Bird had made it near on impossible for Relish to make any films.

I believe Relish recieved alot less than what was actually invested to set up the company. Their current DVD output was only 1 film every 6 weeks.

This is what I think given what I read and the language used. It was written by someone stirring trouble.

Besides that I have i ton good authority this is not true at all and my source is on very good authority.

But if I may ask a question to all. What difference does it make or not to you the end user who sells up to who? if the original people are behind the brand being financed by someone else does it really matter?

What ever happened to the good old days when people actually just enjoyed the movies. These days its all about knowing the politics Surely that must put you off your strokes a bit.

Except, not all of us want to sell out.

We were going to sell up our vast collection of films & 1000's of photos last year to someone but got second thoughts at the last minute.
For the big boys of porn (don't put it on here please e-mail us) what would be a serious offer these days on our footage/pics etc ?
We are joining with an old friend & backer next year to start a new label as this is the only way for us to make the change from amateur to pro without being typecast, we will be producing the new polished films mainly for the English/American women audiences & softcore cert.18 which seems to do better at present for Sat/Hotels/high street etc.

The problem with british porn ( I prefer to say porn in general) as some would like to rail on about is the skin flints that have forced the industry into what it is today by not paying out enough to warrant any real production values.

Anyone forking out more than the usual budget rarely ever make their money back and then in turn the people who stump up the cash are shafted by all the free stuff on the internet hence the reason the value on any product (unless you are in with a major backer) is forced down through the floor.

This is the real reason behind the rise of the amateur and I have to say I saw it coming many years ago.

My advice: Know thy market.

Too many people coming in thinking they are reinventing the...Oh I've been here before.

There was a new Relish title Asscapades 3 that went on sale on about 1 month ago but does not seem to have been updated.
