Been in the same boat wasting limited holiday allowance.
Also why I prefer if the model can accommodate or will do a shoot in secluded outdoor locations.

As to the ' big name ' pro models, up and coming pro models and amateurs been let down by them all.

Hi Stiffoaks,
Raven is in Sheffield. She is just off the motorway in the High Green area. Same area as the Artic Monkeys in fact, but with more talent.
Raven was the very first model I worked with and though it must have been obvious to her that I was a complete novice at that time, she never let on.

The silence at the end of this thread amuses me.

Officer Dibble, I share your love of a former type of English pornographic female model. I too would welcome the return of classy, sexy women into UK porn. But it ain't any of Terry Stephen's concern -- or responsibility -- that they should reappear. His product focusses on the here-and-now, for an audience that would be bored by Salieri / Dorcel et al, and presents it very well.

I'm sure that we would agree that the absence of these women in the industry is, fundamentally, down to market price. The money just isn't good enough. And until that money appears the situation will remain the same.

In the meantime, and that may well be until hell freezes over, I would greatly welcome a temperance on your part towards the women who currently work in the UK pornography video industry. I've made something like 130 or 140 shows for Television X over the last four or five years and I've been producing, exclusively, boy-girl programmes for a while now. Which means I don't get the pussyfoots. I don't source my own models. I depend on word of mouth and industry agencies. Of all my shoots, I have had one no-show. And she was a big industry name. I'm not sure why that's been, probably luck. (I've also had superb luck with the weather and the police, and bad 'Andy's luck' with nearly everything else.) But whilst I mourn the generational difference in attitude towards pubic hair, and more still the lack of standards and probably self-esteem that results in women turning up at my shoots with shaven, spotty and red pubic regions when they so easily could have gone to a beauty salon and had themselves waxed, I have to say that the women that I've paid to fuck in front of my camera have been great. Basic, genuinely nice, professional people.

I think about this. I wonder why it is that women who put themselves out there to strip off and fuck a stranger in front of another stranger and, ultimately, in front of thousands of other strangers, should be so nice and easy to work with. And I don't have an answer. I don't have the greatest respect for people in general. Time and again men and women disappoint me and this confuses me. Because the people who nudge me back in the direction of thinking that folks ain't so bad after all are often the women who I pay to have sexual intercourse in public.

I sense in your estimation of the women of yore a wonder towards a certain kind of refined, beautiful womanwood, Officer Dibble. And I share it. I also sense in your repeated condemnations of female "chavs" a misogyny, a hatred of certain types of women that perhaps belies an attitude to the normal and average woman 'on the ground' that only serves to undermine your 'respect' for the 'ladies'.

To all the female models I've worked with, barring the few who tried to pull a fast one on me and / or played the prima -- and they're very much in the minority -- thank you very much for your time, your work, and the best to you all.

I have had a lot of reliable girls, infact all of them that are on my website have been top notch and great to work with. I find normal glamour models harder to turn up, only had a few when I started off but it cost me a lot. 1 glamour girl did a last minute cancellation 2 times but she is no longer around, suorise suprise.

I have worked with the following and as I said they were great, both timewise and performance:

Lolly Badcock
Tammy Oldham
Mellie D
Morrigan Hel
Francesca Taylor
Taylor Morgan
Jo May

Looking forward to working with many more great girls in the near future.

Regards James

I've booked about 30 models this year and I've not had a no-show. I agree with Andy that most of the women in this business are genuinely nice, professional people.

Hi just approaching this subject as my name was mentioned as a reliable and self motivated model if I may, I always put in 100% and more I have been on a set that was due to finish at 6pm and offered to work up until 3am twice now, and the guys ... which for them is very hard, or not as the case maybe lol. I continued to work like a proffessional put in my ultimate best took over two other scenes in which the models would not perform and left. I continued on made fantastic scenes and asked for no extra pay... so we are not all bad you guy's ... maybe you should get in touch Mmmwah.

Hi Stiffoaks,
Did you try Raven or any of the other models suggested, we are all interested to know what you are now doing....well I am anyway! I'm sure many others will agree when I add Frankie to the list of very reliable models.

Why is anyone moaning? This is what makes the porn business. If it was easy then everyone would be doing it. From a whole year we've had 4 no-shows. All i say is choose your agents and your girls wisely. If you have a good agent then a no-show is easily avoided as a replacement can be found.
If you book a whole shoot revolving around one girl then you will in time be wiser. This shouldn't even be a subject it's a hazard of the job, that's why the successful are susuccessful....adaptation.

I am hoping to do a shoot next week but don't want to say much more until it actually happens - then I can start to build up references and possibly think about using studios etc - but don't think I'm going to be able to go beyond my London/Herts/Essex area for awhile yet!
