Contact me and I'll see what I can do for you.
I'll at least get you up on something better than Myspace.

That is very good to hear... You took a gamble and it's paid off. That doesn't happen too often :)

Good luck and welcome to the industry Roxy

Perhaps if you're in telephone contact with her, you could inpress upon her the need to reply to her mail, even if its only to say no.

maybe she doesn't yet understand how models who don't reply to work offers acquire a bad name very quickly, and I'm sure she,and you, wouldn't want that to happen.

Any pics for us to see if she's worth persuing?

Don

I'm not starting an argument but have to stand up for Peters comments.

He is one of the UK's top glamour photographers having been around since the Brownie Box camera, if not longer !happy! He made a valid point about a model replying to emails. A polite thanks but no thanks is the correct way to behave. Just ignoring emails does give models a bad name, specially new ones...

Visit the many model forums and you'll see quite a few posts about this subject by well known photographers, all complaining about not receiving a reply. All it takes the model is no longer than a minute to write and send.

So... Have you signed her exclusively ? If so, Peter has an answer and so do others who may have offered her work !happy!

Absolutely!

I have seen stunning models all over the net working for peanuts as the serious photographers wont book them because their reputation and reliability is shit.

I mean, If you contact a model, arrange all the details, fix a date, hire the Make up and Stylist people the studio etc, and then they are unreliable its alot of time and money lost as you still have to pay everyone and studio costs, and once one persons says it, it spreads like wild fire that someones unreliable.

One forum has a naming and shaming system in place, that has 1000s of models and togs on it.

I am sure most of you are aware that for every email you send out to models sometimes either they have changed there email address, they dont get the email, they delete the email, too busy to answer the list goes on.

This will always happen in ANY industry. I get it and i,m sure it wont be the first time h-jardon gets it either

I shot her and will shoot her again as long as she is happy to work for us as with any model out there.

Maybe try emailing her again as i said in my original reply maybe she doesnt like what your offering i have no idea as its nothing to do with me and i have no inkling as to why she wouldnt reply

thanks
