Your comments about g/g are interesting, as One Eyed Jack and I were talking about this yesterday on the phone
I know in the States this is a very small % of the shoots compared to here.
When it comes to sets.. In the States there are far more houses etc. available compared to here. I don't think there are too many 2 up, 2 downs in the LA area... LOL.
In the States there are more models in LA than in the whole of the UK, so finding VERY good looking, as you seem to be after is harder
If I was over there, I could do shoots 365 days of the year with a different ethnic girl every day, while here.. No comment. The best I did was 5 shoots in 10 days a couple of years ago.
As for catering.. You can ask Faye, Sandie and a few others about what they get to eat and drink at my place. Cooking is my hobby, so I always try to do something the model likes.. Faye even ate all her veggies for the first time when I cooked for her... LOL

lol. I wish!!!!
I mean porn is more then just a way to get off to me. I find it fascinating and the people intersting.. I watch loads of documentaries on it and such.
I do hav ethese greta ideas lol but the expense holds me back. I'd love to go to the AVN's. I put forward an idea about reviewing porn films to some high profile mens mags, but they never got back to me. I real market I think they are missing out on.
seems like there are a fe won here in the business. If anyone is around the Leeds area or wants to give some xperience to a nice guy that sintereste din the business. I am available. I don't mind if its taking photo's for the dvd cover lol.
America does seem to be porn central though.

Archangel, sorry mate but you arent bringing anything new to the mix already. You'll just be adding to the saturation of the market already. Go ahead anyway and I'll see you on the other side, say hey join the club and I told you so...
Either way I wish anyone with the best intentions who puts their money where their mouth is the very best of luck....Just dont expect to make much money back in return though

well I think a british film that doesn't feature long reay haired guys with aweful accents and vastly sized midlands housewives would be quite a rare thing.
I am a graduate interested int he industry though, so if anyone on here in the business thinks they could use me, I am willing.

Archangel -
If you'd like to put your time where your mouth is and review porn movies on our site, to help me out with the weekly newsletters, that would be fantastic. I'd give you free movie credits in exchange for well written, enticing reviews of films on Strictly Broadband. (I'd give you a list to pick from and you could do as many or as few as you liked.)
Here's an example of the length and approximate style I'd be after...not just a step by step walk through of a movie's scenes, but an actual comment on *why* you like it, *how* it is sexy/original/dirty.
Porn related articles would be very welcome too, if you fancied a crack at it.
Email me, let's talk...

Hi Archangel
You stress about 'british film that doesn't feature long reay haired guys with aweful accents and vastly sized midlands housewives would be quite a rare thing' as though the public don't want to see this.
Once you've made an impact in this industry with whatever style you have you will know its an equal market when it comes to top quality Pro or Amateur. Being in the industry for 10 yrs i could make/shoot Pro films of top quality & skint myself within 3 months which most newcomers do so you pace yourself & shoot what the public want at that time be it glossy or amateur.
By the time a film come out its usually not a new idea anymore & your looking for new angles so its more important to make yourself a household name first & your fan base will love all or most of your films.
I wish you luck as i have done many over the years but i can count maybe 7-8 people out of loads i know who are still around after 2yrs, so watch your spending as thats the most important thing & you can give the public the film of your dreams if & when you can afford it.

Thanks kim. Sound advice.
I have some money, but not enough at the moment to go into making films, not on the pro level quality I'd like anyway. I think the best I can manage at the moment is some amatuer films with hand helds lol.
Still if you have any advice on how to get into working on porn sets and with porn compnaies. That would be gratefull recieved.
