Contacting performers...

That's another beauty of the log book - especially where performers are EXTREMELY busy... I know that if it had been necessary for ME to contact performers I had worked with - a) It wouldn't have been difficult in terms of numbers - I was never that busy and I think I'd have been able to recall exactly who I'd worked with in that period - however, b) I might not have had contact details for each and every performer...
Witht he log book - you have a PRECISE record of WHO you have worked with since your last test - and, if each performer were to add their contact details, you'd have a means of contacting each performer.
Katalin - I applaud you for your honesty in terms of your "bad luck" - in my 2-3 years I was obviously EXTREMELY fortunate... your history is an eye opener - to me (as a performer) and I am sure to casual observers... you're absolutely right - this is REAL - it's here, it's happening...
We'd be naive to think that the industry could ever be "safe" - but there's a lot more that can be done to promote safety...
