I also want to add that in the Photonovels the actresses were seen performing some acts they apparently never accepted in films, expecially anal sex (facials too, but as most of them were bogus - here I disagree with cloche about Pontello's abilities - no great feat). You have Olinka, Eva Kleber and, I'm told by a reliable source, even Barbara Moose taking it up the ass. Maybe also B. Lahaie and Helen Shirley?

Mark Shannon,

thanks for the info: glad to hear the Ferguson source is bogus, I can stop looking for it.

As for the "anal sex" for Barbara Moose (who was called Martine Semo in the magazine) and Lahaye, I'm afraid that may be an urban legend. I once had nearly all the first 120 issues of Supersex, including all the episodes with Semo and Lahaye. I'm working on memory here (because like solJAris, I threw my issues out long ago) but trust me, if there had ever actually been absolute proof of an anal, I would certainly not have forgotten. What would happen is that at a certain point in the shag scene Supersex would say "Now I'll ram it up your ass" but the next shot would show the actress from the front, her face contorted like he was slamming a tree trunk in her, but you would NEVER actually see the penetration. If there was some issue I may have missed where actual anal is shown for these ladies, I'd like to see it. As for Helen Shirley I can't say, but there was no actual anal in any of the issues I saw.

As for Pontello's pop shots, as I said, many were faked because back in those days, or so I have been told, actors used to shoot several scenes a day for loops and magazines (whereas these days a Peter North admits he waits even 2 or 3 days between single film shoots). But when he wants to, he's in top league: look at these two shots on Marianne Miller with a high-speed sequence from the issue identified as "37" on the Deltadivenere site: that's impressive by any standard. And look at his pop shot on Olinka in the first scene of the movie "Burning Snow": a huge amount of spunk.

I've written elsewhere that Pontello was the first real spunker of hard before Peter North. So the amount of his cummings is no new to me. But as to the frequency, I don't think he ever went beyond two per episode, mainly keeping himself at one. Add to that that his filmography is the scarciest among the french actors of the same period: nothing to compare to Allan, Armand, Royer and Ceray. That was because of Supersex and because, like all of us, he was no Superman. (BTW, he's my favourite performer ever). I think that for an actor 2 a day are more like the exception than the rule. The high numbers are urban legends.

About the Moose anal, I have just reported what a friend and great admirer of this actress (like the rest of us, I presume) told me. I haven't personally seen it, so the question is to be left in the open. As to the Lahaie's and Shirley's, mine was a question. let's keep in mind, though, that photonovels were produced also for the french market: there was not only Supersex. I personally believe that some of these actresses may have gone out of their usual way in photonovels and super 8's. Even some famous actors may have performed in gay and transex scenes not available in other media.

No, She's not.
I am 100% sure that she's Patricia Bouvier (listed here on EGAFD too).
I used to own that magazine and I am absolutely sure about that identification.

I saw them, but the start prices are already high (20 Euros each).
I have also seen another seller who sells other Supersex photoromains, but the covers look different from the ones I remember, with no traces of Pontello in almost a dozen items he has for sale. Can they be a different series that plagiarized the title of the original one?

No, those are the soft-core Supersex issues Mark Shanon and I mentioned, that appeared in 1971-1973 or 4 with a slightly different premise (aliens shagging one another on planet earth). They were within a joke and cartoon magazine in oversize format on cheap paper. A curious collector's item, but no hardcore.

The hardcore Supersex magazines WERE reprinted and repackaged in different ways up through the 90s, but these aren't those.

For you history buffs, I recall seeing the Supersex "logo" (which appears in both the 1971-73 softcore and 1976-198(?) hardcore magazine) -- that stylized stiff cock and balls with ears and whiskers to look like the silhouette of a cat -- appeared in some earlier Italian "girlie"mags of the 60s/70s (though now I can't remember where) so there was probably always the same publisher doing this stuff.

You're right about the pricing; you should be able to find early issues for less than 10 euro, except the ones with the most popoluar stars, and at 20 euro they should also be in mint condition, if you plan to resell them.
