Thank you. At last I have found someone who has actually heard of Nadine de Rangot! It was indeed the 1972 film to which you refer and she did play the busty schoolteacher. She also appeared in the film 'Ranch of the Nyphomaniac Women' a much softer film but there may have been a harder version released in Europe. She also appeared in another film, title unknown to me, where she was only referred to as 'the bargirl with the big tits'! She appears to have retired before real hardcore came to the cinema so I doubt that she did any.

And thanks to you for the ID! I've wondered who she was for a few decades. Those are the only films I ever saw, theatrically or on video, but she's pretty memorable in "Lippen."

'Lippen' is the best soft core film I have ever seen. de Rangot was superb in it. Many of the actresses who appeared in soft core in Europe in the early 70's went on into hardcore but, apparently not, Nadine. I think she was Swiss. The actor who played the 'virgin' student did appear later in hardcore, or at least an actor who bore a remarkable resemblance to him, including some early Hans Billian films. It is a great shame that rarely did hardcore reach the standard of 'Lippen' and, of course, never even approaches that standard in the present day.

This is indeed "Maedchen mit offenen Lippen".
The butterfly-hunt motif would later make a reappearance in Julchen & Jettchen, though with female-butterfly-hunters only.

Yes, it is him. That scene also appears (for no good reason) on the video cover for "Frauen, die fuer Sex bezahlen".

In "Die Maedchenhaendler" most are (relatively) well-known, and for some
of them you'll find pictures in the EGAFD.
In the Miss Bosom competition I spotted Christa Free, Claudia Fielers, Nadine de Rangot, Monica Marc [the surprise winner], Melitta Tegeler [the mud wrestler], Margrit Siegel, Ilonka List; just a couple were unknowns.

Thanks for the information! "Pin Up Playmates" only runs about 70 minutes in the US video, and the Miss Bosom contest is completely missing from it.

Very briefly, the segments are (I may not have them in quite the right order):

1. guy who looks like a pervert introduces the film. He's a travel agent who books sex tours. Want to see more?

2. Woman in Vienna places a newspaper ad for a massage parlor and invites the advertising guy to come by for a free demonstration. While he's waiting for her he leafs through a Colour Climax and we peek over his shoulder at graphic hardcore photos of 2 schoolgirls fucking an older man. He has a soft scene with the masseuse.

3. Big-titted woman on the Riviera gets oiled up on a boat and has a very short softcore scene riding a man on it.

4. Tourists in Copenhagen watch a woman masturbate inside a glass booth. One of the men in the group joins her for softcore sex while the others cheer him on. In the US dubbing the old lady in the group is his mother and the loudest cheerer of all.

5. Man in Bangkok gets a shave while an Asian girl flutes him underneath the sheet.

6. Man in Zurich sees a doctor about his bad back but throws away the prescription and goes to a massage parlor, where he has a soft scene with a redhaired, big-tits woman.

7. Man in Spain visits a very petite blackhaired prostitute. They flamenco dance and then play bullfighter (intercut with real bullfight footage) before softcoring on the bed.

8. Man in Paris takes the tourist special at a brothel, and has sex on rollerskates with a prostitute. Next day he takes the first class special and watches the same woman do another man in bed, through peepholes in a room. The guy at the next peephole says, "This is nothing. You should have been here yesterday. They were on rollerskates!" (I think I first heard that joke in 1961.)

9. Old man in Stockholm has an outcall masseuse visit him. He stimulates her with a vibrator. She steals money from his wallet while he's out of the room but he catches her and throws her out the door.

10. Long sequence at a brothel in Rome (all the locations are as given in the US dubbing). Moosholzer with Nadine de Rangot. Two blonde women, good-looking but not into the lesbian activity (or so it appears to me). Beefy man, described as a Hollywood movie star, has a soft scene with 2 very petite girls he calls "the babies." They are Eva Karinka and a blonde, both teenage-looking. The woman from the boat, I think, and an old man. All of these scenes are intercut with one another.

11. Back to the host, and the camera pulls back to show that 2 naked girls are apparently giving him a blowjob, though we don't see the details, nor even their faces.

Credits on the US tape are Rena Bergen, Nadine de Rangot, Melitta Tegeler, Walter Bustelli, Raphael Britten, Otto Winiger, Elke Hoffman, Gaby Walther, Claudia Fielers, and show Manfred Gregor as writer/director. This is a lot more credits than the US video prints of these films usually gave.

Thank you for this very helpful information beutelwolf. I have never seen this film. With your knowledge of the European scene in the 70's, I wonder if you can confirm what I suspect, that Nadine de Rangot retired when full hardcore arrived in 1975? If she did do hardcore she must have used an alias. I have, unfortunately, never seen her in a hardcore scene. That said some of her 'soft' films were quite adventuress. Had she gone into hardcore along with many other former softcore stars I am sure she would have been one of the early hardcore superstars.

As I have said in my reply to beutelwolf I have never seen this film. Nevertheless I have a feeling that the scene I mentioned earlier, where Nadine is referred to as the 'bargirl with the big tits', may have come from it. I can't remember much about that film, I saw it in a cinema club. Although it was not full hardcore, it was too hard for the British censors of the time!

Many readers who are unfamilar with Ms de Rangot will probably be wondering why there is so much fuss about a soft core actress who hasn't made a film for thirty years. She probably dominated the films she was in more than any other actress, either soft or hard. Her physical appearance was striking. Long dark slightly red hair. An attractive face. A large , shapely bust and quite buxom but fit looking. Perhaps one of the reasons she was particularly noticible is that in the days when open leg shots were banned, she was quite prominent in that region when just standing up naked. This could be why her best known film was called 'girls with open lips'! There did not seem to be any other reason for the name.

I have never seen Nadine do hardcore, and I would not even say that she was partticularly adventurous in her softcore films, compared to, say, Christa Free or Rita Waldenberg or Melitta Tegeler. I haven't seen her in anything past the mid-1970s
