Obnoxious? Surely not. If you think that is obnoxious, your life must be totally immersed in the obnoxiousness of TV, newspapers and every day life.
I prefer satire "the use of humour, irony, exaggeration, or ridicule to expose and criticize people's (in this case, newspapers) stupidity or vices, particularly in the context of contemporary politics and other topical issues.
"Did you have a special locker at the hotel where you could keep your ?300 bottle of cognac?"
No but I never asked about either.

No idea. One thing I do know though is that to live on a diet of cheap cigarettes, home brew and fish and chips is not a prerequisite for being a politician of any flavour. I'm interested in the policies and whether they are implemented or not.
