I wonder if this government hit squad that's being sent into Tower Hamlets will actually do anything. The racist guy in charge at Tower Hamlets, who only got elected because he looks like his electorate (as I said previously when I posted about this, above, some months ago), apparently gives lots of grants to people who look like him in the borough and the minority who don't never get a look in. According to the news today he rarely gives interviews on British TV, but regularly does interviews for Bangladeshi TV channels (this is a British politician!). I hope he is kicked out by this hit squard, rules are introduced to stop cronyism and racism being done by the people in charge, and that this sort of thing never happens again! I doubt anything will happen though, as I've said.

once someone starts using the words 'bigot' and 'racist' I stop taking them seriously. just tired, overused and hackneyed insults deployed to try stifle opposing views and any proper debate.

The big irony of it all is that these self-proclaimed & self-important so-called "liberals" are often the most nasty, sneering, intolerant (and to throw their own word back at them "bigoted") pieces or work you could evetr have the misfortune of encountering. (i give you some of the posters on this forum).
