Only one party leader went to Eton of the main three.
Not quite sure where you get the idea that Ukip want to go it alone a la 1940. What they want is to withdraw from the European Union not the European continent.
The party wants to be friends with Europe, trade with Europe and open up exploratory trade talks with other countries (something the EU is not keen on), they just don't want Europe telling us what to do.
As for no policies, read some of David Johnson's posts where he lays out what he believes are the party policies...
UKIP has arrived

UKIP did badly in Scotland too, despite Nigel going up there and doing his normal rabble rousing.
The harder you cum. The more you enjoy it.

No, they didn't. They did well. No one seriously expected Scotland to return a Ukip MEP. Alex Salmond certainly didn't when interviewed by David Dimbleby. Indeed, he seemed rather annoyed at the prospect that the SNP would not take all the seats.

Essex Lad
Big up UKIP if you must. They did better in Scotland than they did last time but in comparison to the English election results it was a poor performance.

Re: Essex Lad
But you are not comparing like with like. It's like saying Hull City getting to the F A Cup Final was a poor result...

What's well? In comparison to what? I'm going by percentage figures. Ukip 10% in Scotland. Ukip 27 or 28% in England. If my figures are wrong let me know.

In comparison to having no seats in Scotland beforehand and in expectation of having none this time.
