Seeing Rebekah Brooks and Millie Dowler's parent's on a discussion programme would be interesting to see, I agree. Rebekah Brooks would have been very well coached beforehand, if the show was to take place, and watching it you would find her not being fazed by anything that would be said and she would have practiced every possible scenario with advisors and coaches beforehand.

I agree that what Chris Huhne and his wife did was minor by comparison to what Brooks and co allegedly did, but it still surprises me how ubiquitous they both are now - especially her. She is now on TV regularly, I don't recall seeing her on TV much previously - so her being banged up, and the coverage it got, actually seems to have HELPED her career. This is all very odd.

Well, Vicky Pryce did appear on tele a great deal before her little difficulty with speeding points. She was the Joint Head of the Government's Economic Service in amongst a host of other academic and business positions and wrote a book entitled Greekonomics which concentrated on the Eurozone debt crisis and in particular her birthplace's problems.

As a result she appeared a helluva lot on programmes like Newsnight and the Daily Politics whenever such matters were discussed.

It's also worth keeping in mind that the rich and powerful have no shame. That's one of the main reasons they become rich and powerful in the first place. For example, Pryce spent about two months inside prison, nearly all of which was in an open prison. She has now produced a book called Prisonomics based on her experiences inside!!!!!!

A bit like you, Max spending two months in a hospital bed and then writing a book about the effect of the NHS on its patients and how the NHS should be run from a financial perspective.

Like I said, some people have no shame.
