Sam I am perfectly well informed about the climate change myth. If the UK stopped producing so called greenhouse gases now it would take Inidia or China a few weeks to wipe out the positive effects. Man is living longer and using too many resources....so you suggest we go back to the stone age and feed ourselves by hunting? Man is resourceful and will overcome as per usual. Now go and eat some mung beans while I watch some motor sport...

Peter
Are you the bloke who doesn't appear to know anything about anything yet ignores the comments of people who disagree with you?
Oh sorry, I forgot you slagged me off on another forum didn't you so that is a kind of reply, gutless, but a reply all the same.
Bit like a lonely fat schoolgirl on Facebook eh, Peter?

It is disingenuous to weigh a minority of scientists with one opinion against the overwhelming majority who have another. It's about acting on the best available evidence at the time. To do anything less is to, as I've already said, cross your fingers and hope for the best.
You know nothing about the climate and neither do I. I'm just saying we should listen to the people who know what they're talking about (the overwhelming majority from all over the globe, making some political conspiracy laughable). I find my attitude the most sensible and prudent, given the wager is our planet.
And, again, if the general consensus does turn out to be wrong, so what? We've not lost anything but a little effort (and stopped giving our money away to dodgy, despotic Arabs). Sounds like a decent plan.

Putting money and resources into cleaner energy isn't 'going back to the stone age', is it? It's called progress.
And you don't have a decent counter argument to any point I've made. You're not debating, you're sticking your fingers in your ears and yelling la, la, la, la, la , la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la! Pure Jeremy Clarkson.
