Altruist, I saw the film on Saturday night at The O2 in Greenwich. Where did i imply I saw the film before this date???

In fact I also have the script as well given to me by a mainstream producer friend and couldve seen it ahead of its release from the same producer friend who is actually listed on imdb for working on Mission Impossible and Braveheart (i'll let you figure that one out on imdb) who had a DVD screener from the Miramax London office. They will know who they gave them out to

But no...I didnt see it before the release date even though I couldve done so quite legitimately, you know why? I wanted to see it on the big screen with an audience

I resent your accusation. I am well known as a paying customer on the cinema circuit in my area and central London and a big fan of the IMAX at Waterloo and have many DVDs and box sets in my collection to prove it too

I'm sorry Jack but, to be honest, something don't ring true about your rebuttal. I can't put my finger on it, precisely, but it doesn't feel true. Maybe it was the way you protested that you'd seen it on pirate instead of calmly saying that you saw a preview screening. Or your almost name dropping that you're friends with a mainstream producer. I really don't know.

I was referring to hypocrisy. There's so much of it about. The date you posted that was the 13th. It wasn't officially released until the 18th. That's five days to have got hold of a copy. It is entirely possible that that is how you could've seen it.

I'm pretty sure Miramax wouldn't allow someone to show you the screener copy producer or not. If someone did do that then they would more than likely get fired. They certainly wouldn't have been allowed to lend it to you.

All in all if I'm wrong, I'm wrong. And I'm big enough to say sorry. But it is on torrent sites and has been downloaded by millions of people worldwide. Call me cynical but it's hard to believe people nowadays.

Well given the fact that action figures are designed for under 18s and the film is an 18 certificate....Doesnt make it commercially viable to do so
