Like I said it worked for the locals who stood up against Mosley and the Blackshirts and it worked with the Anti-Fascist League who were not prepared to roll over to the fascists and let the EDL march in areas with large Muslim communities and try to intimidate them just as Mosley wanted to march in largescale Jewish areas.

Violence and the moral high ground can go together sometimes.

John didn't hit the guy in front of her by the way so no harm was done there & like i said his pool cues was fine.

I don't like racists. But I don't like idiots who start fights in pubs either. You talk about "causing misery" - well both can cause misery.

I'd shame them with words Kim. Equally effective, just as humiliating for them and much safer (see above). I'd only go down the "pool cue" route in self-defence as an absolute last resort.

I don't know where you were brought up Eric but when a few guys are trying to cause a ruck you take them out first, yes this idiot did start a fight & John finished it quickly...he could have hit all 3 but the taking out the mouthy one worked much better defusing the situation.

So you being mister perfect, how would you handle a situation like that knowing these guys would take things further if they thought you were a pussy.
