"The irony of that statement being that many of those professing to be caring-sharing "progressive" socialist types on forums such as this (and I mean this in general terms, not as a dig at any particular individual here) tend to be the most biased, unpleasant, snobbish, sarcastic, supercilious, morally-superior, self-important, priggish, aggressive, blinkered, misinformed, misandrist, dogmatic and - yes - bigoted (i.e. intolerant of any views that oppose their own) individuals / forum entities of the lot".

Mind you, Francis Maude isn't the kind of bloke I would want to introduce to my gran either.

Dear Thread,
I would sooner vote in accordance with what's best for my country, rather than what's best for my own selfish, self centred interest.
The above latter voting policy, I leave to politicians as their party political Pavlovian response to the division bell.
Just had a thought , Uk summat or other

"Nah you're just a left winger whose achieved nothing and will never achieve anything David Johnson, you're the worst of the bunch,"
You aren't my old Religious Education Teacher, "Bonkers" Boynes are you?
That was the sort of thing he used to write in my school report.
Mind you, he used to write that kind of stuff in everybody's report, apart from the vicar's son, as I recall.
