I don't want a iPad because I don't want to pay out more than two hundred quid if I can get away with it.
I also want something to support flash and I have decided on a 7 inch on the basis I want to use it when travelling and I don't want to tote 12 inches around with me !wink!
That rules out an iPad.
I don't have strong views one way or the other about Apple products, although I don't like they lock down all their software. The counter to that I suppose is that there's a very low instance of virus on Apples.
I think I've settled now on a Nexus 7 now.
It looks like buying a Nexus though is going to be like buying an Apple in that there's no competitive market place and wherever I look a Nexus is going to cost me ? 199.00 for the 16 GB version.
I'd like to know how Apple and Google can get away with this fixed pricing. I thought fixing the market was against EU legislation. Why haven't they had the backsides sued off them?
I shop at Waitrose by the way. I'm sure the basic Waitrose is as cheap as Tesco. The problem with Waitrose shopping is that they sell such good stuff I always spend too much pigging-out. Suppose if you want the quality you have to pay.
