However the riots took place in a whole host of different places such as in Hackney, Brixton, Chingford, Peckham, Enfield, Croydon, Ealing and East Ham, city centre of London, other cities in England including Bristol, Manchester, Birmingham and Liverpool, etc etc which had nothing to do with the death of Mark Duggan.
True. But would those other riots have happened if the Mark Duggan shooting had never happened? Thats why i still say it was the catalyst to the whole situation and to suggest otherwise is to imply the riots just happened for no reason. Even if it was an indirect result it was still linked even if the intentions were lost on personal gain.

Oh believe me Jim,if they have to hire the extra staff, they will. Cut backs? What cutbacks? I its i the interest of national security then there is no expense spared. Remember we used the same question with the BBFC and they said they would bring in the extra staff if they needed to because the money would justify it.
Getting through 80'000 people is not that hard as you'd think. Set up a bank of recorders and a computer to pick out key words (and there could be hundreds) and they will just short list the ones of interest.
They may well have been looking in on our responses here on the BGAFD

If you want to stop the snooping dont waste time signing up. Just stop using the internet, lose the phone, credit card and everything else that tracks your data.
The government dont even have to do it when all the other companies already do. All they have to do if the government sanctions it is to pool all this data to them and its going on right now as you read this message.
Every site you look at if you ve logged in is in your web browser.

The snooping is already with us & as been for months, our latest visitors had a print out of our private emails. It would have been far easier for them to check our Tax number & save themselves all the hassle but thats to easy lol!

Re: 'Stop the snooping' petition
Amongst the objections to the Poll Tax, apart from its manifest unfairness, was the requirement, as it was based on people not property, for a national register of those liable to pay, tied to the place they were resident and backed by a punitive non-compliance regime. This was little short of an ID card system years before Blair thought he'd foist one on us all.

Yes fair comment, but at least it was a fairer tax if there can ever be any such thing..
