Water cannon do exist in the UK. We used them in Londonderry in 1970 and the Met have been trained in their use. The said items are in storage along with the ubiquitous Green Godess Fire Tenders.

A guy in Liverpool was stopped cycling along the road with a huge 42" tele on his handle bars. When asked he said it was his satnav !!

Water cannon, nor Baton Rounds have been deployed on mainlamd UK, but they are availlable as soon as a strong Police Commander with balls decides to deploy them. The govt has given permission for their use.
