No. Read my initial post again, but more carefully this time.
All I am doing in the post is stating what the IMPLICATIONS are of the resolution which had been passed i.e. what happens in certain scenarios.
What triggers an attack then depends on two things:
1. Whether Libya ignores the terms and carries on which appears to be happening at the moment, despite the declaration of a ceasefire.
2. Whether the alliance of US, France and GB now want regime change and are looking for any excuse whatsoever to attack and remove Gaddafi, irrespective of the intent expressed in the resolution and irrespective of what happens on the ground.
On the subject of turnarounds could I draw your attention to the Tory and Lib Dem manifestos. There is no manifesto in the history of British politics that bears so little connection with the reality of what is being done once in government as the Lib Dem manifesto.
