People like Vaizey are computer illiterates. It would have been explained to the fool by advisors and the ISP's that people themselves must take responsibility for what comes down their telephone cable and into their computers, it's called parental controls and they are very effective.

Try logging into your beloved BGAFD in a Macdonalds in Budapest and your laptop is zapped! They don't need government controls the technology is there.

DJ and No6's presumption that the Coalition is in someway of the same dictatorial mindset as New "Sieg Heil" Labour was, is nonsense. Hasn't anyone noticed the outrage of New labour as the Coalitions dismantles CCTV, detention without charge back to 28 days etc etc. This government hates New Labour so much that they will dismantle everything they put into place, even the odd thing that was of benefit to the community.

I hope I'm not wrong about the Coalition and I certainly don't need characters like DJ telling me why I am wrong, thanks! The difference between myself and DJ is that I think ALL politicians are corrupt, not just the ones that are on the side I happen to disagree with.

Dismantles CCTV? Not round our way.

Get your facts right, The coalition has reduced detention without charge from 28 to 14 days. You know the number of times detention above 14 days was used since 2006 when it was introduced? As far as I know, once with regard to the plane bomb plot. So this change makes vrtually zero difference.

On control orders, looks like control orders, quacks like control orders, smells like control orders. Hey it is a T-PIMS brought in by the coalition. Dont take my word, take that of the Director of Liberty "The coalition bottled it"

SOrry to keep disagreeing with you and correcting you Jim. But if you continue to talk shite, thats what you will have to expect.

!wink!

I just looked up what the 'Equality Bill' was on Wikipedia. I guess they had to get rid of the 'Trades Description Act' before they could pass that one!

Deano,

"Equality", "discrimination", "-isms" and "-phobias" are all one-way streets.

Which is why so much sanctimonious, muddle-headed bollocks is spouted about 'em (not least by certain parties on this very forum).
