It would appear just about all politicians are regarded as tossers by forumites. Surprise, surprise.
After a number of recounts, the result was almost too close to call.
Cleggie got a vote. Dunno who from.
Gordon Brown got two votes from Arginald and Rodders.
All the Lib Dems got Ned's vote.
Number 6 voted for Cameron.
Margaret Beckett got a vote.
Jimslip nominated Lord Prescott and Hazel Blears
Steve56 came with a late run for Tommy Sheridan.
Oh and I got one vote. I put that down as a spoiled ballot paper.
So it looks like Brown wot won it and the spectacular prize is winging its way towards Scotland.
Not surprising I guess, given 90+% of the media are run by vested interests supporting the Tories.
Ah well, Cameron and Cleggie are sure to cock it up big stylee this year to carry on from the chaos they were creating towards the end of this year with U turns on books for kids, flu advertising campaigns, funding for kids sports, NHS Direct disbanding or not etc etc. Just wait til Lansley gets cracking with his NHS reforms in England and public service cuts start hitting the frontline services that Cameron promised faithfully to defend.
Cheers

I've not had my vote yet. Mine goes to -and it pains me to say this because I really think this guy cares, says things from the heart and I've always found likable- John Prescott for becoming a lord. This isn't just a policy change, which all parties do, but a complete change in life philosophy.
He once said: "I was born a union man. I will die as one."...............Yes, my Lord..........of course.

This now gives 1.5 votes for Prescott (Jimbo voted for two people). Still not enough to clinch it.
You say "This isn't just a policy change, which all parties do, but a complete change in life philosophy."
I like the bit about "which all parties do". It is relative though. Some parties do it a lot more than others, naming no names, of course! You just have to remember to describe it as the "new politics" as I recall.

May I just point out that the derogatoriness of the term Tosser is somewhat undermined by the fact that this is a forum on a porn site. In other words, regular readers divide into those who toss and those who lie. So, accusing someone as a tosser is just saying: s/he is one of us!
Had this thread been initiated by our followers of the Daily Mail I would have had some sympathy, as that would indicate that hypocrisy is probably a medical condition in their case...
