The listed scientists based their work on empirical evidence, observation and rigorous scientific method, not something Icke can be accused of.

All the same, the "Mob" still wanted to string them all up. Icke's ideas are indeed bizarre and in some societys he would have been inprisoned and tortured by now for expressing his beliefs.

I can't understand why people like Icke, create such aggression in people. Let him do what he does and keep an open mind.

In the old days the likes of Icke WERE the mob, with their irrational superstitious beliefs, sometimes burning at the stake those whose efforts and bravery would later free us from medieval standards in science, medicine, astronomy, etc. Icke is part of the dangerous process of returning us to those dark days of utter stupidity and credulity.

An old ex of mine worked as a psychiatric nurse for a while. She reckoned Icke might well be a full breakdown job, grasping at weird beliefs to dress it as something else. Mind you, he's certainly kept it going.

Elsewhere, I see Jim Corr of The Corrs has headed into vaguely similar realms (9/11 conspiracies, New World Order etc). Once had a coke habit that could fell a rhino, allegedly. Just an observation.
