Agree entirely. The person who has paid the price here in the Premiership is the loyal supporter who both the clubs owners and the football players exploit mercilessly either directly or indirectly.

Have to agree with MegaTon and Dave Wells on this. He's over-hyped and certainly not world-class like a lot of football 'experts' say he is.
He wants to take a look at himself, and say: What have I won for United, without my mate, Cristiano. For me, United won those trophies more because of Ronaldo. Apart from last season, Rooney has contributed little, considering what he cost, and even then (last season) United won nothing to shout about. Without Ronaldo, United have struggled as Berbatov is next to useless.
If he doesn't want to play, get rid. It's hapened before and United have bounced back. They'll do it again.

Another stunning about face from the Man Ure mob, wanted him out and hated him yesterday, tonight they'll be back in love and worshipping him!

BTW Dave, my reply wasn't aimed directly at your post, it's just the way it came out.

There was as much chance of Rooney leaving Utd as me being signed up as a replacement for him if he went!

He might be an over hyped over paid cock head but I wouldnt say no to him doing a season at Anfield! As I cant see Cole, Gerrard and Torres taking a paycut for next season!
And just to rant for rantings sake, why the hell is the first story on LFC home page about the f***ing Red Sox?

Hilarious.
Past two years up to 4 days ago...
United fans: Rooney's one of the top three best footballers on the planet.
Rival fans: Rooney's fat, ugly and over-rated.
