Props to TalkTalk and Virgin. ACS:Law didn't target them for they felt they'd contest the court order.

I`d use the same arguement as the music and movie industry. Nothing to do with the fact that whats being churned out is shite, is it? Nothing to do with the fact that its not worth buying? Naw easier to blame pirates and keep putting out the same low grade shite

I've heard this same argument from friends wheremovies and music are concerned but they use the term "greedy companies" as well.

heaven help us that a compnay should expect ?15.99 for a double disc dvd that it spent $100 million dollars to produce the product in the first place.

If its not worth buying and a pile of shite why waste time even downloading it then?

Interesting thought process going on there unless you meant "try before you buy". I can subscribe to that as I've been shafted with a fair few shit buys on dvds and cds that unless I am sure now i would rather sample it before deciding its going to be a keeper then own the hard copy.

These days I would rather sample it on itunes where music is concerned to save timefrom downloading hours of shit but |I rarely buy music there if i can get it on cd because mp3 s are just crap outside of listening to on your ipod/ mp3 player.

Yeah! I got it.

You could try TPB, look for the one that is in Portable Thunderbird, and be careful there are 14 viruses in there.

This gets more interesting the more you dig.

In short:

Give me ?495 for coyright infringement or we take you to court as my client wishes to recover his loss.

However, some of the titles are not legally available in the UK.

Therefore there is no loss if you only share with a UK IP address. And lets face it that's a piece of piss to do.

So that's a way round the Digital Economy Act then!!!

You don't understand the difference between pirates and filesharers and you have no understanding of what is going on.

You are out of the game.

This is what you are up against:

"We are anonymous. We are Legion. For each that falls, ten shall take his place. We do not forgive. We do not forget. We are everywhere and we are nowhere. We cannot be found. We cannot be fought. We cannot be counted. We cannot be named. We will never die. Expect us."

Lets face it co-existence has created a fucking monster.

These people own the net. There are to be more DDoS attacks this week. They just took out 8000 websites in Australia, they took down MPAA, RIAA, BPI .....

They never hacked into ACS:Law. On Friday night it was there visible to whoever wanted to have a look. And they weren't 'pirates', whatever you want to call them, they were alleged. Very important word that.

Personally I'd love a letter from ACS:Law as my reply will/would be see you in court. It will never get there. The evidence they have is circumstantial at best.

The DEA is coming. It's riddled with holes. You can't stop this. You have to change your game plan.

The dinosaurs will die out. Those that adapt will survive, people like the guys behind 'The Tunnel'.

Of course if the client cannot prove their case which appears in most instances would be the likeliest outcome then they would be liable for all court cost and damages !sad!
