I know, but I couldn't say "Scotland has.....the most scenic lochs and valleys..." because only Scotland has lochs, thus has the most scenic ones by default [in Britain].
To compare them with English 'meres' and 'tarnes' I needed a word that covered them all ? a word we all know well. I chose 'lakes'.

The pair of you really do need to get rid of all this sexual tension you've got going on. Can't you both meet up somewhere for a quick snog?

Sounds quite similar to a few places in south wales too,sadly...young people in the UK don't seem to have any self respect let alone for anyone else these days..I hate chavs.
Re: Dundee:Scotlands arsehole.
Is it not the same which ever place you go to ? Blyth is not far from me and was named the 'Chav' capital. See them outside of Greggs with babies with sausage rolls in their gobs.
Re: Dundee:Scotlands arsehole.
Nothing wrong with a Greggs sausage roll to get you started in life ....
