How did you get on?Just looking at a couple of camcorders.One has 34 zoom other has 35 zoom - any big difference?

Well mine were nearly new and I can't tell the difference.

Note that not everythng you buy from the Amazon site actually comes from Amazon.

Amazon is now a sort of "front end" site to a load of companies.

Some things WILL be sold and sent out by Amazon, so it will say "Dispatched from and sold by Amazon.co.uk."

Others will come from other companies, like this which says "Dispatched from and sold by Bentham Ltd".



So be careful what company you use as some are based in China for example.

As Guilbert says check carefully who is actually selling the item.

For anything of significant value I would only buy if the item is actually sold by Amazon as anyone can sell new, 'as new' and used items through them.

I've bought quite a few books over the years from Amazon. Always reliable and quick delivery. You generally don't get problems when you order from the very big sites.

JH - How long before you got your discount put into your bank account ? I'm assuming you got your 30% discount.Have you ever sent anything back to Additions,if so,any trouble in them accepting the item back and how long before they put the money back into your account?, thanks

I bought a camcorder from Additions last week.The box was dented when I got it.I set it up and tape release not working.Seems like they send it off to check and maybe repair,rather than refunding.There are other options for returning an item.I'd rather not have this camcorder model back and hope I can get refunded so I can buy one elsewhere,or at least have the amount towards a different model with them if possible.
